Tempus Taproom with exciting releases

On one very special Saturday every month we open up the doors to our Tempus Project, the wild side of Beavertown where we age, sour and experiment. The Tempus Project houses 300 barrels, a pair of Foeders and a couple of traditional terracotta amphora, all being utilised for their unique transformative properties.

At each Tempus Taproom we have at least one exclusive release – where you as our guest will be the first one to try it and have the opportunity to bring some bottles home with you. There is also a fridge full of new beers and old classics dating back to 2014.

This is a ticketed event to ensure top table service and time for chats and questions with our brewers. There is a menu with assorted cheeses from Neal’s yard, carefully selected to pair with our beer offerings.

The next event is on August 4th where we are releasing a very special treat – Battles of the Trees. This brett fermented sour was brewed in 2015, soured with Lactobacillus brevis, fermented with Brettanomyces claussenii – and then aged for 2.5 years in Pinot Noir barrels from Le Grappin in Burgundy.

Actually, the Sapling that we are releasing this weekend is a re-brew of the same base beer, fermented cleanly and dry hopped.

If you are joining us in our exclusive Tempus Taproom, expect bespoke glassware, great beers, delicious cheese and an intimate setting with just 30 people per sitting. Upon arrival make your way to Unit 2, on the left as you enter the estate opposite our main taproom.

The £7.50 entry fee covers plus your first pour, all other food and drink is to be purchased separately.
