ROLE OVERVIEW

We’re looking for a Maintenance Engineer to join our Packaging team! Reporting into our Head of Packaging and Maintenance, the Maintenance Engineer is a newly created role to support with the maintenance of all brewing and packaging equipment across our multiple sites.

As the Maintenance Engineer, you will work closely with the Operator-Maintainer to monitor site facilities and utilities, perform preventative maintenance and confidently identify and troubleshoot problems as they arise.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:                            

  • Perform preventative maintenance
  • Maintenance planning
  • Troubleshooting and fault finding
  • Contractor control
  • Control and re-order critical spares
  • Calibration of critical equipment
  • Implementation of continuous improvement projects
  • Utility readings and usage analysis
  • Legionella control and record keeping
  • Perform can integrity checks
  • PAT testing electrical equipment
  • Ensure we are compliant with all SALSA requirements relating to Brewery equipment
  • Contribute to Beavertown events and festivals and representing the brewery in public

 

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE REQUIRED FOR THIS ROLE:

  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience working in a Production environment
  • Electrical experience required and willing to take on mechanical maintenance
  • PLC programming experience (desirable)
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision to achieve business goals
  • Ability to focus on accuracy and attention to detail; always keen to make improvements
  • Competent Microsoft Office suite user
  • Strong communication and people skills
  • Flexible attitude towards work
  • Demonstrate a passion for our brand!
