Wit or Wheatout You

What do you need when summer’s finally in town? A combination of the most refreshing beer, spice and fruit!

That’s why our brewer Lidia decided to experiment a bit by souring one part of her brew with Lactobacillus, and ferment the other with wit and wheat yeast (a hell of a tongue-twister!). After blending these halves together, the beer has been infused with lemon zest and toasted coriander seeds. It has not been pasteurised in order to keep all the flavours of this bacteria, yeast and aromatic additions, and let them evolve.

The result is a thirst-quenching nectar to be enjoyed under the sun,  With or Wheatout you!

Radiating with a cloudy shortbread golden yellow hue, this is the perfect summer refresher. A lightly tart and recognisably comforting bouquet fills your pretty little nose with the scent of a sophisticated afternoon tea in the quaint, dappled cottage garden of your mind.

The aroma of a divine Lemon Posset, lightly spiked with a touch of verbena and marjoram, laid on a fine bed of toasted hazelnuts, washed down with a bone china cup of earl grey tea is your afternoon treat.

On the palate lemon cheesecake, delicate in its sharpness, is balanced with lightly herbal coriander, while a gentle homely spiciness of ground ginger and freshly grated nutmeg leave you feeling utterly contented to dream away the remaining hours of the day to the sound of birdsong and a few more glasses.
